'Add Meeting' bullet note to cursor / caret position in Daily Note
planned
Darren Shewry
Currently 'Add Meeting' appends the meeting note bullet point to to the end of the top-most bullet list in the Daily note.
I typically cut and paste the new meeting bullet lower down in the note/doc as I use the top/first bullet list as a summary for the day. So by inserting the Meeting note/bullet to the cursor position I can control where it'll 'land'.
HOWEVER, I appreciate this may be unintuitive and/or break things for existing users, so there may be an alternative solution to this that is either in the works or another feature which enables a less cut-and-pasty approach e.g. Drag and Drop?!

I agree this would be super helpful!

This would be huge. This and not having audio notes go to the cursor location are my biggest pain points using reflect so far.

It would also be great if this applied to Audio Notes; more often than not I find myself copying and pasting a transcribed voice note into a specific location.

We'll add this to the / menu

+1 for putting the meeting at the cursor position.
Alternatively, putting it under a top-level "Meetings" bullet, similar to how tasks are added to "Tasks" and links are added to "Links" would work well for my daily template.
Alex MacCaw
Josh Knowles: I think short-term we'll add it to a Meetings bullet.
Josh Knowles
Alex MacCaw: that works great for me and is more consistent with Links & Tasks

Alex MacCaw: any updates on this one please? I take all my meeting notes in Reflect - my daily template has a meetings bullet, and I move all meetings under it manually.

Alex MacCaw any updates on this one?

Yeah - completely agree... please add to cursor position
