Improve performance and stability of audio memos on iOS

There are two known bugs about audio memos on macOS:
Sometimes the microphone doesn't connect to the app, and so you see a flat chart of voice input. Restarting the audio memo seems to fix this.
Taking audio memos uses up a huge amount of battery life.
