Improved meeting transcription

I just started using https://www.granola.ai today and it listens to your microphone and system audio to get a transcription and AI summary of meetings and it's already been really useful. I still think Reflect is a better note taking and knowledge connecting app though. Something like this built-in would be really powerful to me.

Pulling this back into planned again as we are not currently working on it. We are, however, about to release live in-line transcription, which resolves some of the issues in this ticket.

It would be great if this was a grain integration. I use this currently and it already sends everything to the team, hubspot, and others so will be hard to add another recorder here

To split out speakers it's probably a good idea to build a browser plugin that would integrate with Google Meet, like some other note-taking apps did. Google Meet's transcription is not very accurate in general but it precisely knows the names of every person on a call and precisely knows who said what. Combine it with Whisper's transcription, and you should get the best result.
AFAIK https://www.bluedothq.com uses this approach, and the result is quite awesome.

Nice idea. I currently use Krisp.ai for this if it's a video call. And if it's an in-person call that we agree to record I usually use either 1) Apple Voice Memo + MacWhisper for transcription and summarisation in CGPT. or 2) Cleft Notes if it's a shorter meeting.
Being able to record a (reliable) transcript in Reflect - perhaps through implementing a template or similar / command - would be really cool.
The complete version of this sounds like a BIG feature!

Canny doesn't have a "next up" status so I'm moving this to "in progress".
